The Third (Expanded) Meeting of the Second Board of Directors of Henan Plastics Association was successfully held in Zhengzhou

On the afternoon of December 7th, the third (expanded) meeting of the second council of Henan Plastics Association was successfully held at Zhengzhou International Convention and Exhibition Center. More than 200 people attended the meeting, including Duan Tongsheng, President of Henan Plastics Association, Fang Shaoming, Vice President and former Vice President of Zhengzhou University of Light Industry, Guo Xiaoen, Zhang Jiaheng, Cao Wenping, He Xingchu, Zhang Qingyun, Chen Congli, Zhang Qingyun, Wei Xiufeng, Wang Xiaodang, as well as directors and representatives from within the province and leaders of friendly associations from inside and outside the province who were invited to attend. The meeting was chaired by Dou Junling, Secretary General of the Association. Tong Baochen, Director of the Consumer Goods Industry Department of the Henan Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology, and other leaders attended the meeting.

 2024 Work Report: In the previous paragraph of the report, President Tongsheng continuously strengthened internal construction under the guidance of Party building, and steadily improved industry service capabilities; Strengthen industry research and proactively visit enterprises; Actively provide suggestions and recommendations to the government for the development of the industry; Participate in industry activities and engage in extensive exchanges; Strengthen the management and services of branch offices; Give play to the role of website, WeChat official account and other information platforms; I personally experienced seven aspects of building the "2024 China (Central) Plastic and Rubber Industry Expo" and reviewed the work of 2024.

During the analysis of future trends in the plastic industry, the chairman pointed out five aspects. Firstly, facing the increasing adverse effects of external environmental changes and insufficient domestic effective demand, the industry in our province has been experiencing a decline in profitability and severe internal competition among enterprises. The current market situation seriously affects the development of the industry. 2、 The main person in charge of the enterprise must change their business mindset as soon as possible, enhance their awareness of the international market, expand their products overseas, open up and cooperate with the outside world, and make up for the sales shortcomings in the domestic market. 3、 Enhance technological innovation and project investment in green transformation and sustainable development, focus on environmentally friendly design, assist the government in promoting legislation on degradable plastics, reduce plastic usage, recyclability, and biodegradability. In the future, the application of environmentally friendly materials such as recycled plastics and bioplastics will become the direction of industry development. 4、 Technological innovation and industrial upgrading require enterprises to increase research and development investment, develop new materials and processing technologies, improve product performance and added value, such as high-performance engineering plastics, functional plastics, etc. At the same time, through intelligent manufacturing, digital management and other means, production efficiency and quality control level can be improved. 5、 Enterprises need to comply with regulations and improve their financial and related matters. In the new situation, enterprises need to establish sound rules and regulations to withstand government supervision and inspection.

Work arrangement for 2025: In the previous paragraph of the report, President Tongsheng pointed out that the association will carry out relevant work in six aspects, including promoting high-quality and sustainable development of the industry.
